NCFEF Partisan District Ratings

At the conclusion of the redistricting process in the Summer of 2011, the North Carolina FreeEnterprise Foundation analyzed the new congressional and legislative districts to assign them each with a Partisan District Rating. When determining the Partisan District Rating for each district, the Foundation considers voter registration data, recent voter performance, demographic and geographic information, historical voting trends, and numerous other factors. Note, the  districts in each category are listed in order of strength, with the strongest Democratic district listed in the top of the left column and the strongest Republican district listed in the bottom of the right column.
