The North Carolina Free Enterprise Foundation provides innovative educational programs, non-partisan political research, and objective analysis to foster informed civic involvement, develop an understanding of the free enterprise economy, and strengthen North Carolina’s prosperous business environment.
Anna Beavon Gravely is the executive director of the North Carolina FreeEnterprise Foundation, a non-partisan research organization that provides analysis on voter attitudes, demographic changes and business growth impacted by North Carolina’s political landscape in order to better understand and advance free enterprise.
Previously, Gravely worked as a consultant partnering with non-profits on strategic planning and vision-setting. Before going out on her own, Gravely was the North Carolina Deputy State Director and Spokesperson for Americans for Prosperity (AFP). While at AFP, Gravely advanced several successful state-based issue campaigns. She has a long-time relationship with North Carolina’s political landscape working with organizations like Generation Opportunity, Americans for Prosperity Foundation and North Carolina Family Action.
Gravely’s work has appeared in the Raleigh News and Observer, Charlotte Observer, Greensboro News and Record, and The North State Journal. She is a frequent guest on popular conservative talk radio programs in North Carolina and a regular panelist on NC Spin.
Gravely holds a bachelor’s degree from Meredith College and resides in Raleigh, North Carolina.
